The idea to start
this site for advertising came to me a little over a year ago. My
husband and I moved here to Hancock County in 2005 and while we both
love the area we did see a need for bringing more business in. It is a
rural area which we like but we also have trouble getting out to stores
etc. in Rogersville, Morristown, Kingsport or any of the larger places
around.
I started TnT Enterprises in 2005 and one of the things we do is
Website Design and hosting. During my time here I have been involved in
The Leadership Group and The Partners and realized that one place where
all the businesses could be showcased would be a good way for them to
be noticed.
During my research getting ready to start this I looked into different
ways to advertise. I did flyers and posted them around Sneedville (they
didn't last long and I didn't get any results), I looked into running
an ad in the paper and while the cost wasn't too extravagant it would
only be in the one paper for that one issue and probably only visible
for a day, so the time available to make an impact was very short and
the one ad if large could easily exceed my budget. TV ads would be well
over my budget for a 30 second spot and wouldn't target local people.
Those are the reasons for this site. We offer a large ad as a webpage
that can be seen around the world at a rate for the entire year so your
ad works for you 24/7 365 days at a price that will be close to if not
lower than a newspaper ad for one edition.
I hope it will appeal to the businesses here in Hancock County as much
as it did to me.
